Roadmap

These are plans, not features: none of them is available yet, and details and timing may change. What's available today is in the rest of these docs and the changelog.

Recently shipped: Snipfire Tweaks on WordPress.org (1 October 2026), 71 of the library's snippets as one-click switches. In 0.17: scheduled snippets with a run log, snippet performance, the secrets vault, the AI assistant in the editor (bring your own key), export as a plugin, page-builder elements for Elementor and Bricks (beta) with design tokens in CSS autocomplete, network snippets for multisite, the agency hub (push snippets to many sites, see which version runs where, roll back), HTML next to any element with a visual picker, GA4 WooCommerce events, signed updates, and an editor that works from the keyboard, with screen readers and on phones.

In 0.16: generators, settings forms for clients, smart tags, page code and the Snipfire block, the live CSS preview, the Custom PHP condition, WooCommerce hooks in the editor, updates from the WordPress Updates screen, and a much bigger snippet library.

Next

  • WPCodeBox importer, full: one-click switch over from WPCodeBox, like the other importers.
  • Cloud library: save snippets to your own cloud library and pull them onto any site, included in paid plans.
  • Bitbucket for Git sync.

Later

  • Smart asset loading: delay JavaScript until the visitor interacts, merge CSS snippets into one file.
  • Deeper code checks: PHP compatibility, WordPress coding standards, security hints.
  • Tailwind and PostCSS for page-builder users.
  • A file manager for the files your snippets use.
  • Editor extras: class and method completion, snippet templates, autocomplete for secret names.
  • More page builders: Breakdance and Oxygen elements (until then, their shortcode elements run any shortcode snippet).
  • More importers: Advanced Scripts, Scripts Organizer, other plugins' export files.
