- An AI chat inside the editor. Snipfire Pro's assistant explains, fixes and writes snippets with your own key, and your own AI tools can connect through MCP, but it isn't a chat.
- A cloud library for your own snippets. Ours is on the roadmap; until then, Git sync and the agency hub (Agency plan) move snippets between sites.
- A separate IDE for theme and plugin files. Our file manager is on the roadmap.
- A bigger community, for now. WPCodeBox has been around longer.

How we checked.
On 24 September 2026 we read each plugin's website, documentation, pricing page and WordPress.org listing, and where their docs were silent, the free plugin's code. We only list a feature when the vendor documents it. "Not documented" means we couldn't find it, not that it doesn't exist.
Plugins change fast. If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us and we'll correct it, usually within a few days.
