If a licence ends, the free plugin keeps running your snippets. Pro settings stay in place and switch off safely until you renew; only network snippets and code that reads the secrets vault wait for the renewal.

How does the free trial work?

Start the Agency trial and you get every Pro feature plus Git sync, the agency hub and network snippets for 14 days. No card or PayPal is needed. When it ends, nothing is charged: the Pro features switch off safely until you buy a plan, and on multisite the network snippets stop until you buy Agency. Each site's own snippets keep running.

What happens when a licence ends?

Your snippets keep running, because the free plugin does all the everyday work. Pro settings are kept and stay safely off: a script waiting for cookie consent doesn't run, a snippet in testing mode runs for nobody, a scheduled snippet or one placed next to an element doesn't run, and SCSS keeps its last compiled CSS. Two things stop until you renew: network snippets on multisite (Agency), and PHP snippets that read the secrets vault, unless they check function_exists( 'snipfire_secret' ) first. Renew and everything comes back as it was.

What counts as a site?

Each WordPress site where you activate the licence. Local development sites don't count, so you can build on your own machine freely.

Can I move up from Pro to Agency later?

Yes, from your account at any time.
