Install the free plugin
Snipfire notices snippets from other plugins and offers to import them. Your old plugin doesn't even need to be active: Snipfire reads its data directly.

Import
Copies arrive switched off in an "Imported / WPCode" folder, with a note on anything that works differently. Nothing changes on your site yet.

Check the few that need it
Anything Snipfire can't match exactly is marked "Check first" and keeps running in WPCode until you've looked at it. Snipfire never guesses silently.

Switch over
One click turns each snippet off in WPCode and on in Snipfire, and test-loads your site in between. A snippet that fails is reported and left where it was.

Remove the old plugin when you're ready
Old shortcodes like [wpcode], [code_snippet], [fluent_snippet] and [hfcm] keep working, even after the old plugin is gone.

Will my tracking codes keep running during the switch?
Yes. Each snippet is switched off in WPCode and on in Snipfire in one step, after a test load. Anything marked "Check first" stays running in WPCode until you decide.
Do I have to deactivate WPCode first?
No. Snipfire reads WPCode's data directly, whether WPCode is active or not. Deactivate and delete it once you've checked the site.
What about snippets I added from WPCode's library?
They're ordinary snippets once added, so they come across like the rest. For new ones, Snipfire has its own library, installable in one click.
Can I go back?
Yes. The snippets are still in WPCode, set to draft, and the Header & Footer boxes are backed up. Switch them back on in WPCode and off in Snipfire.
